Doctorate Housewife

What my degree in IPE didn't teach me about baking, DIY, fitness, and life…

Temptation Tuesdays

For things foodie, this week at Doctorate Housewife was all about the cookies. Soft, warm, decadent cookies, both an oatmeal and a chocolate chip variety. You see, hubby found me a video on youtube. You’ve heard the hit song “Call Me Maybe”, but have you seen the Cookie Monster version? Yes, the Cookie Monster version!!! (If you haven’t, click on my share it maybe post below. You’ll be glad you did).

Foodie posts this week on Doctorate Housewife:

Share it maybe – Levain Bakery Chocolate Chip Cookies: Bonus Cookie Monster video. These cookies are soft, doughy, and delicious!

Apple Cinnamon Oatmeal Cookies with a Caramel Thumbprint: These cookies are redesigned to be a bit healthier, but still taste decadent. I love the oatmeal caramel combo.

Tempting tidbits from other blogs:

Blueberry Lavender Pancakes with Honey (Emmy Cooks): Blueberry and lavender just intrigues me. I can’t wait to see what this one is like!

Butternut Squash Mac&Cheese (Pinch of Yum): Healthy mac&cheese that uses butternut squash. I bought the squash today. I can’t wait! Bring on the Autumn =)

Peach, Cinnamon, and Brown Butter Pull Apart Bread (Craving Chronicles): Because it’s still Summer and it’s National Peach Month, and she has brilliant step by step photos, and this just looks delicious!
