Roof Update

The work on the house continues. When last I told you about our most recent renovations, I said that we were so happy with the work on the driveway and the gutters, that we were about to have them start on the roof. Well start on the rood they did. In no time, the scaffolding was up and the dust and noise had started. They’re not done yet (like most projects, this one is taking longer than they’d hoped), but I thought it was time for an update.

At least all of that used to be true and that’s what we wanted to fix. So they got to it:

The structure is almost done now and the staircase is being put together. After that, all that’s left is to lay the insulation and then steam clean the house. This is what the insulation will largely be composed of:

Rockwool, it’s pretty cool =) We’re going to be warm this year!
