There’s lots of stuff to celebrate this week. There’s Valentine’s Day and Hubby and my anniversary – both of which I’m pretty excited about. We like to keep it low key, but it’s still nice to take a step back to appreciate all the amazing times we’ve had so far and to look forward to the adventures yet to come. We’re lucky actually – we have 2 anniversaries. Because we got married in Belgium, we had to get married at the town hall as well as the church. Usually, you do them both on the same day, but we had to find a date to suit family around the world, so we get two – October and February. This week I’ll be sharing a bunch of “for two” recipes for those of you also celebrating with somebody special this week.
Reason number 3 for celebration this week is Mardi Gras – that’s right, today is Fat Tuesday! In the UK, that typically means crêpes, one of my favourites. Are you a fan? There are dessert crêpes, dinner crêpes, even ones for the middle of the afternoon. My favourite is nutella and strawberry jam. What’s yours?
