I’m loving this Foodie PenPal thing! First of all it means getting real snail mail (how great is that?!), a fun package full of goodies, and you get to meet other bloggers. If you missed it last month, I got an awesome package from Tina over at Fashtastic.
This month I got a a fun parcel full of yumminess from blogger team Simon & Eliane over at Luv4Fashion. It’s a bit of everything. I love their tagline: “fashion, food, and nonsense”. Anyway, they put together a great package for me. There were homemade cookies, chocolate extract, yoghurt covered fruit gummies, a white chocolate bar flavoured like Manchester Tart, and tea.
I must admit, I tasted a bit of everything right away. And then I got into plotting what to do with it. I decided that the cookies were too good to just leave on the counter. So I broke them up, stuck them in a ziplock bag and put them in the freezer to make a new ice cream flavour – Chocolate Peanut Butter Cookie Caramel Ice Cream. I have to say I wasn’t disappointed. =)
Enjoy =)
With the Foodie PenPal programme you send a parcel to one person and somebody completely different sends a package to you. This month, I sent a package to Sarah over at A Tomato Sardine. She’s got a really fun blog full of foodie and life adventures. Check it out =)
Those yogurt covered gummies sound amazing!
They were super tasty, a great snack!
Looks great Jess! Thanks again for your parcel!
My pleasure!

How fun! What is Manchester Tart?
I’ve never had it actually, though the recipe was in the package, so I may just =p From what it looks like, it’s a pastry crust, topped with a layer of raspberry jam, topped with a layer of custard, sprinkled and shredded coconut and a cherry on top. The chocolate bar was definitely fun – vanilla and raspberry flavoured white chocolate rolled in coconut. =)
Yum, white chocolate and raspberry is always a winning combination! 🙂
